The Crusty Old Columbia Punks 2011 reunion has four local events to celebrate their favorite decade. Come out to reconnect with friends or see what the ’80s were all about.

Hall of Fame Awards
Where: The Heidelberg
When: Tonight, 7 p.m.
Cost: Free
Craig Dalrymple will host this event that inducts a new batch of ’80s Columbia bands into their hall of fame. Participants have voted for the bands online.
The Passion
Where: The Blue Note
When: Tonight, 8 p.m.
Cost: $5
Call: 573-874-1944
The Passion will headline this throwback concert at The Blue Note with The Stonethrowers and Primitive Soul. The Passion started right here in Columbia in the ’80s heyday of these old punks. Doors open at 8 p.m.
Reunion Pizza Party
Where: Shakespeare’s Pizza
When: Tomorrow, 7 p.m.
Cost: Free
Come have and a few drinks and slices of pizza with the Crusty Old Columbia Punks at Columbia’s favorite pizza place.
Eighties New Wave Dance Party
Where: The Blue Note
When: Tomorrow, 9 p.m.
Cost: $5
Call: 573-874-1944
Dance to some new-wave, alternative music from the ’80s with DJs Julie Swanson and Brent Gardner, who DJed at the old Blue Note Wednesday night dance parties back in the day. The drink specials might not be as good as they were in the ’80s, but the music never changes.
