There are two exciting opportunities this weekend to see local art. Landmark Bank is presenting their Visions Photography Exhibition and Boone County National Bank is presenting the 52nd Boone County Art Show on Saturday and Sunday as part of Artrageous Weekend, a full weekend of art in downtown Columbia presented by Artrageous Fridays.
Visions Photography Exhibition is a competitive photography exhibit displaying photography submitted by members of the surrounding community. 2011 marks the 16th year of the exhibition and this year’s judge is Chris Dahlquist, who has won awards for both her photography and mixed media work. The show will be open all weekend, October 8-9, at the Landmark Bank’s downtown location at 801 E. Broadway.
The 52nd Boone County Art Show is also a competitive art show; however, it features work in all mediums. The show will be open all weekend, October 8-9, at the Boone County National Bank located at 720 E. Broadway.
