Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of a relatively new music venue that opened in Columbia this year — The Bridge.
The 200-capacity venue, located at 1020 E. Walnut, held its first concert back in March and is finally hosting a grand opening concert at 8:00 tonight. Headlining the show is Speakeasy, a rock band from Springfield, MO.
Another Missourian, Casey Reeves, will be opening for Speakeasy. The folk artist has been playing music for more than 12 years and currently lives in Columbia.
Although the show is $5, there is plenty of opportunity to get even more bang for your buck. The Bridge will be giving away free CDs all night by artists such as Mary and the Giant, The HipNecks, and Stingrays.
