Books > Ruins of Us author visits Columbia
Local author, Keija Parssinen will be at the Columbia Public Library to sign her book The Ruins of Us.
The book, which is set in Saudi Arabia and moves to Texas, is about a family fraught with all the familiar issues. The novel has been praised for its superb writing and unique style and received a Michener-Copernicus award. Parssinen lives in Columbia, where she is the Director of the Quarry Heights Writers’ Workshop.
