Think you’ve led a long and interesting life thus far? Ready to pen your first memoir? If so, you’re in luck. This Saturday, Columbia Public Library will host a memoir writing workshop. Yolanda Ciolli, an independent local book publisher with AKA:yoLa, and Mike Trial, author of the memoir Black and Gold, will be on hand to discuss and many aspects of writing about one’s life. From getting started to keeping your focus throughout the writing process, these two speakers will help participants pull out their best memories and sources in order to help to get their books published. So bring your best stories and ideas, and get ready to write.
