Just when you were thinking about leaving CoMo for greener pastures this summer, Blitzen Trapper decides to stop at The Blue Note on June 31 during their latest tour.
A quintent from Portland that plays a mix of alt country and folk, Blitzen Trapper rocks out with the tenacity of D and the lyricism of Bobby Dylan. As your musical nutritionist, I highly suggest an appetizer of “Wild Mountain Nation”, an extra helping of “Furr” and a nice cold “Your Crying Eyes” on the side… All part of a delicious, well-balanced breakfast for the ears. Plus, they use a melodica. Which is like the number one coolest thing ever.
So give them a few listens and act fast — tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon. The last time they were in town was 2008; it might be an Omaha minute until they return.
