On May 7 the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival is hosting an event to kick off their 1/2 Marathon and 10K events.

Get a jump on this year’s races by attending tonight’s event from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Mojo’s. The coordinators will unveil a sneak peak of the 2012 race courses and will also provide an update on registration details. Special guest Helene Neville will be in attendendance. Neville is a cancer survior and has completed over 93 marathons.
