Storyboard
Tumblr curation got pretty meta when editors of Tumblr itself decided to be gatekeepers for the new Tumblr called Storyboard. The concept has gotten a lot of press attention, and with stories about going into the New York Times photo morgue and a history of f*ck yeah blogs, rightfully so. #whatshouldwecallme
What started as two long-distance, GIF-loving friends trying to stay in touch, #whatshouldwecallme has turned into an e-sensation that give real-life scenarios reality show (and otherwise) GIFs. In a similar fashion that this media-saturated town will appreciate, #realtalk from your editor has a similar platform with the snarkiest of editor talk.
Visual-Poetry
In just a simply beautiful manner, Visual-Poetry finds some of the best word art (and no, not the Windows ’97 version, including work from the incredible Wayne White (who has an awesome documentary hitting the festival circuit right now — I highly, highly recommend seeing it if you get the chance).
