We all know about the outrage, if I may, caused by a certain Missouri senatorial candidate’s views on rape. Or, more accurately, cause by his views on legitimate rape. No matter what your personal thoughts are, abortion and women’s health care has become one of the most debated issues in this election. And, as evidenced by that controversy, that debate is getting more and more heated.
Now the debate is coming at Columbia full force tonight, on Aug. 23. The Planned Parenthood “Pink Bus” is moseying its way to Missouri Rep. Mary Still’s campaign office. The Planned Parenthood Advocates of Kansas and Mid-Missouri are hosting a rally and canvassing event for those who support their cause.
The bus can never be called subtle, with its flashy bright pink color and messages plastered along the side. Planned Parenthood is hosting this tour, referred to as the “Pink Bus Truth Tour,” in response to the growing prominence of the controversial issue in our campaign climate.
Here’s all the info you need to get rallied up:
Where:
Mary Still’s Campaign Office – 200 Old Highway 63 (Just South of Broadway)
When: 5:15 p.m.
