Greetings, Thursday night football fans! It’s 7:27, and the Steelers are about to take on the Titans in Nashville. The Steelers have to make it happen without Troy Polamalu, but I’m not too worried for Pittsburgh. I’m eager to see if Tennessee’s mediocre offense can survive the Steelers D… We’ll see!

1st Quarter

Kickoff: The Titans get a decent return on the kick. Nice.

14:47 1st: Hasselback has all the time in the world and throws a great pass to Nate Washington. Maybe I spoke too soon?

14:20 1st: Nah. Just kidding. Hasselback’s pass incompleeeeete.

12:19 1st: Pass interference? You freaking bet. Come on, Taylor.

12:14 1st: Hasselback gets sacked for a loss of 8 on the play. Loses his helmet too. Poor baby.

10:53 1st: Titans have to settle for a field goal. Whew, that was almost wide there, buddy. 3-0 Titans.

10:40 1st: And one of the best centers in the league, Maurkice Pouncey, is down on the field holding his right leg. Uh oh, the Steelers can’t afford to lose him… Lots going on the first quarter here, ya’ll.

8:11 1st: Ooooooooooh! You gotta catch that pass, dude! Almost a touchdown.

7:25 1st: They have to settle for a field goal to tie it up. Shucks, Pittsburgh, I thought you could do better than that.

7:21 1st: Tennessee returns the kick to the 20 yard line.

6:29 1st: Greg Stevens, everyone! Butterfingers.

5:37 1st: Holding on the receiving team. Damn, that ref is weirdly ripped.

5:29 1st: Roethlisberger throws it long, and TOUCHDOWN #17 Mike Wallace! Yay for the Steelers! And yay for my boyfriend’s fantasy team. But not yay for me; my team is playing against him this week…

5:25 1st: The ruling on the field is definitely a touchdown; he has it. They won’t find enough evidence to overturn it.

5:25 1st: Nice work, Steelers! Touchdown is confirmed. Extra point is good. 10-3 Steelers.

5:18 1st: Tennessee gets returns the kick to about the 30 yard line.

3:51 1st: KENNY BRITT! HE’S ON MY FANTASY TEAM! Fumbled, then recovered, so it’s fine. It’s fine. Please no one challenge that. Aaand pass interference on the Steelers.

3:37 1st: What a catch by Damien Williams! 1st down Titans. Getting closer to the red zone.

2:29 1st: False start on the Titans.

1:15 1st: Titans get a field goal to make the score 10-6 Steelers.

:00 1st: HOLY SMOKES! Blocked kick picked up by the Titans who run it in for what looks like a touchdown!

2nd Quarter

15:00 2nd: Nah, they’re at first and goal at the start of the second. Chris Johnson almost had the ball past the goal line.

14:14 2nd: Harper for the Tennessee touchdown! But it looks like they’re going to review the play… The call stands! 13-10 Titans with the extra point. This is going to be a nail-biter, folks.

14:13 2nd: Titans kick the ball off, and the Steelers call a fair catch.

13:02 2nd: Roethlisberger throws an incomplete pass on 3rd down, and the Steelers have to punt.

12:13 2nd: 11 yard gain by the Titans to get the first down, but there’s a flag on the field. A holding call on not one, but two players on the Titans yanks them back to the 30 yard line.

11:59 2nd: False start on Wright. 3rd down and 16=ouch.

11:54 2nd: ANOTHER flag, illegal formation on the offense. That’s the third consecutive penalty on the Titans, and they’re forced to kick it away.

10:57 2nd: Man, the Steelers offense just can’t get hot. It’s 3rd and 6, come on guys!

10:20 2nd: Timeout.

10:12 2nd: Roethlisberger throws it to Heath Miller (he’s mine too!!) for the first down! Huge play for them.

10:00 2nd: #77 on the Steelers is down on the field, looks like his right leg is busted.

8:02 2nd: 3rd and 6 for the Steelers, and Roethlisberger is sacked! Derek Morgan, ya’ll! The Titans get the ball back.

7:02 2nd: The ball goes straight through Kenny Britt’s stupid fingers. C’mon, man. 2nd and 10.

6:13 2nd: …And Hasselback is sacked. Great drive, guys (not). Titans punt it from their own endzone, and the Steelers get decent field position.

4:46 2nd: It’s 4th and 7 for the Steelers, and they can’t get the first down. It’s an epic battle of the punters! Funny, but boring.

3:11 2nd: Kenny Britt with the first down catch! Yesssss. They keep the clock going, and the drive lives on.

2 minute warning: The Titans have to punt it, and the Steelers will get the ball at the 12 yard line.

1:43 2nd: Redman gets 55 yards on the play for the Steelers!

1:32 2nd: Roethlisberger fires it to the right, and IT’S PICKED OFF BY TENNESSEE!! #30 FTW.

:38 2nd: 13 yard gain on the play! Cook brings the Titans within field goal range.

:29 2nd: It’s 3rd and 10, and the Titans need to make it to the 46 yard line to keep the drive going. Come on…

:22 2nd: Hasselback almost sacked, but he tosses it to Johnson! He gets the first down for the Titans! GASP!

:11 2nd: Hasselback throws it long, but nobody home. 3rd and 10: whatcha gonna do?

:06 2nd: Rookie #13 Kendall Wright gets the first down! So clutch.

:00 2nd: Aaaand the 46 yard field goal is good! Titans are winning it 16-10!
