Café Poland is now open in a quaint spot on Locust Street. It’s a small place with a few tables and a casual atmosphere serving a menu of traditional Polish fare, like pierogi. These small dumplings are served by the half-dozen in a variety of flavors including potatoes and cheese, meat and mushroom and sauerkraut. Owner Robert Burlinski said their menu is evolving, and certain items like soups will change on a daily basis.

The café is also offering several coffee drinks and some pastries. Burlinksi hopes to offer crepes and traditional Polish pastries soon. The mother-son duo running this business has an obvious love for what they do and are eager to provide Como with Polish cuisine.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
