Mizzou officially departed the Big 12 Sunday for hopefully greener pastures in the SEC. Since 1996, Mizzou was an active member in the Big 12 conference, forming rivals with teams like Nebraska and Kansas State. Now Mizzou will have to make new rivals as it joins the Southeastern Conference, regarded by many as the premier conference in college football.
