T/F Event: True Life Run

Saturday morning’s second annual True Life Run brought out Columbia’s weirdest, wackiest and fastest runners for a chilly 5K. More than 100 runners showed up for the event, with the proceeds from their registration fees going to True/False’s philanthropic effort, the True Life Fund. This year’s True Life film is Bully, which chronicles the lives of five children affected by bullying. Several of the film’s subjects turned up for the race and ran along with the film goers and costumed enthusiasts.

True Life Run

The True Life Run is a 5k run/walk through downtown Columbia. It starts at 8 a.m. on March 3 in Flat Branch Park. Your $30 entry fee includes a T-shirt and breakfast, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit this year’s True Life Fund film directed by Lee Hirsch.
