One of the University of Central Missouri's vocal conservatory groups, The Church Street Boys, will perform their fall lineup Nov. 12. Songs included are “Brothers, Sing On” by Howard McKinney, “Sweet Hour of Prayer” by W.D. Bradbury, “Poor Man Lazarus” by Jester Hairston, “God Be in My Head” by Jane Marshall, “Blackbird” by McCartney/Lennon, “Cool Water” by Nolan/Wilson, “Loch Lomond” arr. by Jonathan Quick, and “Legacy” by Randall Stroope. The group is directed by associate music professor Dr. John Perkins.
It's a free musical event and an opportunity to hear some of UCM's young, emerging talent. The concert will take place in Classic Hall in the Keith House Band Room. Parking is available behind Classic Hall, and handicap accessibility is readily available.
