Bob Bovee and Gail Heil Concert
Bob Bovee and Gail Heil are veteran performers of American traditional music on fiddle, banjo, guitar and harmonica. This is rural music as played in homes, at dances and for earlier entertainments such as minstrel shows and country radio. Also called old-time country music, it predates bluegrass. Their repertoire of dance tunes, ballads, cowboy songs, humorous and sentimental numbers, blues and rags is spiced with stories, history and folklore. Adults and teens.
