The Trevor Project is a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. Join Morgan Keenan for a workshop that will examine the impact of language and actions on the experiences and mental health of young LGBTQ people, teach how to recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide among young people and their peers and teach how to respond to those warning signs in a way that keeps young people safe. Please RSVP to Heather Hoeflicker at heather.hoeflicker@mail.missouri.edu by 5 p.m., Feb. 18.
