Columbia College Schiffman Ethics in Society Lecture Series: Former President of Ireland Mary Robinson

Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, will visit Columbia College for a lecture on "Making Human Rights the Compass for All Ethical Globalization" as part of the Columbia College Schiffman Ethics in Society Lecture Series.

Robinson is now a member of the UN Global Compact Board, which brings together global business, labor and social leaders to provide strategic and policy advice in order to assist in the Global Compact's goals in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.

Previous speakers at Ethics in Society lectures have included Mike Huckabee, David McCullough and Soledad O'Brien.
