Lately in the news you have probably heard about TIFs (Tax Increment Financing), TDDs (Transportation Development Districts) and CIDs (Community Improvement Districts). This forum will feature panalists explaining these public/private partnerships now being considered by various levels of government, and the public policy implications and trade-offs that such arrangements offer. Cosponsored by the League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County, the Boone County Smart Growth Coalition and the Missouri Sunshine Coalition. Coffee at 6:30 p.m.
