Dr. Peter Miyamoto Recital
Broadway Christian Church will dedicate a new Kawai grand piano at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, with a dedicatory recital by Dr. Peter Miyamoto, faculty member of the University of Missouri School of Music.
Dr. Miyamoto's recital is free and open to the public. He will be performing selections by Beethoven (Sonata in E-flat Major, Op. 81a "Les Adieux"), by Chopin (Ballade No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 23 and Ballade No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 52), and by Modest Mussorgsky (Pictures at an Exhibition).
The grand piano was purchased recently through the generosity of three donors.
