MU Theatre presents award-winning play directored by new faculty member, Dr. Kevin Brown.
Tom Stoppard’s "Arcadia," opens Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Rhynsburger Theatre.
The production will feature performances by upper-level Department of Theatre students, and will also be the MU directorial debut for newly hired assistant professor of theatre Kevin Brown, PhD. Brown comes to MU with an extensive production background.
Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia is a brilliantly funny play about two competing scholars who are researching a potential scandal in 1809 that involved Lord Byron. Winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play in
1994, Arcadia is a touching, beautiful play that is part tragedy, part comedy, part science lesson, and part romance.
