Have you ever answered the door to see the blue doe eyes of a local Girl Scout looking up at you with a variety of cookies to offer? You’ve bought a box or two from her before, but something about the moment has you plagued with indecision. You feel the sweat begin to drip frantically down your forehead, as your neck muscles grow hopelessly tight. Your hands start to shake and your mouth grows dry. And now she’s staring at you.
To help you decide, Vox’s cookie experts are putting all the Girl Scout varieties to the test. The cookies were rated on a 1 to 5 scale based on multiple categories, including flavor, aroma, box art creativity and overall enjoyment. After perusing the following chart and checking out the videos from our taste test, you’ll never have to disappoint that young pigtailed Girl Scout again. If the cookie names look unfamiliar to you, don’t worry. Girl Scouts uses two different bakers, and each baker has different names for cookies. Vox used the names from the baker that supplies Columbia’s cookies.
