Kansas City welcomes spring with “Easter Bunnies,” a collection of nine super-sized bunnies and other larger-than-life animals. The statues have been placed throughout the courtyard and sidewalks of the Plaza.

The New Theatre Restaurant presents Married Alive, a show that tracks two couples at very different stages of marriage. “From Niagara to Viagara, new babies to empty nests,” the play pokes fun at the joys, triumphs and grief that come with getting hitched.

The exhibit, “In the Public Eye: Photography and Fame,” celebrates famed photographers and features some of the most recognizable works in photographic history. The show examines the role photographers play in creating a celebrity’s public image and features works by Richard Avedon, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Andy Warhol and Edward Steichen.

St. Louis Art Museum presents “Frank Breuer: Photographs.” Some of the German artist’s color photographs are on display in America for the first time. Breuer’s works analyze subjects such as commerce and a growing global economy. He focuses on overlooked objects for his compositions and uses subtlety in his colors.
