“A dishwasher in the hospital. It was messy and dirty, and lots of food would come in from upstairs that was half-eaten.”

Dog kennel cleaner, “My entire job consisted of going into 250 kennels [and] cleaning the dog leftovers.”

“I worked in a brick factory. The guy [on shift] after me thought it was too boring and called in sick all week, so I did that 16 hours a day.”

“Mowing lawns. Even though it was great to be outside, it was just a lot of hours.”
