Robotics I

Program your own R2-D2 and teach it to navigate mazes and even do math. Get the fundamentals of robotics programming, sensors and actuators using both Pegasus and Lego Mindstorms. Once you’ve mastered the basics, take your steel dexterity to the next level in Robotics II.

Digital Cartoon Animation

June 15-19, 8:30 a.m. to noon

Age: 11-14; $125 Register now

Learn how animation evolves and use Adobe Flash’s vector art to design your own characters and backgrounds. “The Career Center has excellent equipment, so the kids get to use top notch software,” instructor Patrick Sasser wrote in an e-mail.
