Going to the movies? Grab your lawn chairs and ball gown. Movie options in Columbia aren’t just about the silver screen.

Fashion Week comes to Columbia with Ragtag Cinema’s Couture in Columbia, High Fashion Fundraiser, and the documentary film Valentino: The Last Emporer, about the couturier Valentino Garavani. Fashionistas and filmgoers should don dazzling outfits to impress judges who will award prizes.
WHEN: July 17, doors open at 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Ragtag Cinema, 10 Hitt St.
PRICE: $10, includes a glass of champagne

The kids might finally sit in the car without asking, “Are we there yet?” during a drive-in movie at the Moberly Five and Drive. Enjoy new releases such as Land of the Lost from the car. The Five and Drive hosts ABC17 Night on June 12, July 10 and August 7, and the cost is just $7 a carload.
