The crunchy, sweet and slightly spicy flavor of Brock’s Green Pepper Rings at Murry’s might have you falling in love at first bite. The appetizer easily convinces customers to lick the last morsels off their fingers with complete satisfaction.
The unusual dish is a concoction that replicates state fair nosh with its delectable fried quality. The plate is piled high with thinly sliced green bell peppers, which are lightly breaded, seasoned, fried and then sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Although popular, the rings have a flavor that is difficult to describe. The batter tastes similar to a funnel cake with an okra-like kick. The sweet residue is overpowered by the salty zing from the pepper and spices and leaves your taste buds craving more. Luckily, Murry’s has plenty of main courses to follow-up this flavor.
