Not everyone dreams of the perfect football play. In fact, some don’t think about it at all. Instead, they check out that new movie they’ve wanted to see for weeks. They buy groceries. They drive their daughters to birthday parties at the roller rink. Columbia doesn’t shut down for the Tigers: Nonfans thrive on game days when they have the whole town (except Memorial Stadium) to themselves. Many people don’t put their lives on pause for a football game.
