Adam Sandler uses Jennifer Aniston to cover for his silly lies in this rom-com.

Just Go With It provides boyfriends and girlfriends alike the excuse to watch 116 minutes of hot bodies for the guys, hilariously touching moments for the girls and the strangest Hollywood duo in recent rom-com history for everyone else.

After finding out the day of his wedding that his wife is cheating on him, Danny (Sandler) tricks women into believing he is in an abusive marriage so they will sleep with him. When Danny finally meets “The One,” 23-year-old Palmer (Brooklyn Decker), who reads Seventeen and listens to *NSYNC in the shower, she finds his fake wedding ring. Not letting her go so fast, he explains to her that he is in the process of getting divorced from his wife, Devlin.

Problems arise when there is no Devlin, and Danny asks his assistant Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) to help him out by pretending to be his wife. The story progresses to Hawaii after Danny is conned by Katherine’s kids, who are, of course, posing as his fake ones, for some family bonding time and to maintain a lie that just keeps growing.

Fans of Jennifer Aniston circa Friends can once again express their fandom with dignity now that she has found a compatible male lead to match her humor onscreen. Sandler adds the right mix of humor to a script that at times is too forced, but laughter occurs at the perfect moments to interrupt the unnecessary lines.

Although the perfect woman when it comes to looks for the role, Decker leaves much to be desired when acting the part. After watching scenes focused on her in a bathing suit, typical for a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, the audience sees why she was chosen for the film and will wish for Decker to just stick with modeling.

Because of the obvious, expanding lie, the story seems unbelievable at times, but Sandler and Aniston prove with wit and charm that if you just go with it, anything is possible.
