Movie Review: In Time

Two words: Justin Timberlake.

Justin Timberlake, who plays Will Salas in In Time, literally spends the movie trying to buy more time. Hours and minutes become the currency in this futuristic film, and if they so choose, the rich can live forever, but the poor die young. At the age of 25, citizens stop aging and the extra year everyone is given starts winding down (unless you buy more).

The movie is a modern-day Robin Hood, if Robin Hood had an awesome female partner in crime (Amanda Seyfried who plays Sylvia Weis) that he was also romantically involved with. Salas and Weis take time from the rich and give to the poor.

The acting in this movie is fantastic, and Seyfried and Timberlake’s chemistry jumps off the screen. If anything, it leaves audience members wondering,” How am I spending my time?” and had them plotting what to do with the rest of it.

Other members of this star-studded cast include Olivia Wilde, Alex Petyfer and Cillian Murphy.

Vox Rating: V V V
