Anthonwell Linzie, the owner of Exclusive Closet, orders garments in small batches. The limited availability of each piece is what makes this stare different from others.

The inside of this boutique feels like a walk-in closet. The owner, Anthonwell Linzie, orders clothing directly from a small number of Los Angeles designers and makes sure the companies he orders from don’t sell to any other stores near Columbia.
Exclusive Closet’s garments are youthful, brightly colored and rhinestone-embellished. Anthonwell says the mannequins have more realistic figures to better represent how the store’s clothes would look on his clients. He says the feedback from customers has been positive.

The business is built on a specific model envisioned by Crystal Linzie, Anthonwell’s sister, who wanted her younger brother to start a company that coexisted with her private salon business.
To create a special experience for clients, the store owners usually order one small, one medium and one large in each garment. In some cases, they offer plus sizes.
Anthonwell’s plan is to expand his clientele by reaching out to campuses in Columbia to attract a student crowd. Eventually, he would like to move downtown.
