Harpo's Swing Suite

Practice your golf swing during off season with the new Topgolf Swing Suite at Harpo's.

Harpo’s is taking the downtown college bar experience to new heights. Swing a club while you swig a beer with the bar's newest addition: two Topgolf Swing Suite bays.

Although the closest classic Topgolf — a driving range where golf players aim for targets and compete for points — is located in St. Louis, Harpo’s is now home to the only Topgolf Swing Suite location in Missouri.

Simply put, Topgolf Swing Suite is everything you know and love about Topgolf formatted into a luxury simulation. The ginormous screen and wide selection of games provide an immersive experience for golfers and non-golfers alike. Aim the special Swing Suite club, then take a swing, and the simulator tracks your movements to simulate where your golf ball would land during an actual on-course game.

Topgolf Swing Suite is powered by Full Swing simulation technology, the same program used by PGA Tour pros Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day for off-course practice. Harpo's General Manager Jake Rush says that this is the only simulator that can provide exact swing tracking.

“Topgolf Swing Suite is fairly new; it’s only been open for about 20 months,” Rush says. “We are one of the first bar Swing Suite locations among a lengthy list of stadiums, hotels and casinos.” Rush says the partnership came about through a friendship between Harpo’s and Topgolf employees, and preparations have been in the works for about six to seven months now.

The Swing Suite also offers more than just golf challenges to players. Baseball, dodgeball, hockey and classic carnival games will also be available.

Soon you will be able to make bay reservations online, but for now, they can be made over the phone or in person. Walk-ins will always be accepted if there’s a bay available.
